Located within the 341-acre Bristol Woods County Park. Four miles of hiking trails through upland hardwood forests, lowland marshes and oak savannah remnants. Environmental programs, birding opportunities, wildflower viewing and X-C skiing. More than four miles of color-coded trails — prime ground for skiing or snowshoeing — traverse the park. The orange trail, for instance, travels through a wetland marsh flaunting sedges, reeds, winter cress, and in the summer, rare swamp buttercups. With luck, you'll spot great blue herons nesting above swamp marigolds, as well as mallards and screech owls settling in to raise their families.
Hike or bike on the wood chip trails through this majestic oak community in the Bristol Woods upland forest. Within the woods are four miles of trails that are used for bird and wildlife observation, nature education walks, hiking and cross county skiing. Pringle Nature Center offers free, year round nature programs, exhibits and interactive learning stations.
