Retzer Nature Center features a touch and discover area, native fish, teaching animals, and a walk-through prairie underground. This 335-acre nature center contains native and restored natural communities of woodland, wetland and prairie. Includes a great variety of resident and migrant bird species including Cooper's and Sharp-shinned hawks, Upland sandpipers, bobolinks, Henslow's sparrows and Yellow-breasted chats. Spring warblers are excellent. Located just south of Hwy 18, halfway between Waukesha and Wales.
