Canoeing in New London WI at Wolf River

Offers variety, with relatively calm upper stretches to exciting whitewater below Lily. The stretch below Lily is recommended for experienced canoeists and is also popular for whitewater rafting.

Area outfitters provide canoe and raft rentals. Access is available at road crossings with possible take-out near Markton and Hwy M before entering the Menominee Indian Reservation. NOTE: Regulations on canoeing beyond Markton should be checked locally.

Tube & canoe rental with shuttle. Campground with tent & RV sites, playground, game room, pavilion, tennis & volleyball courts, bar and grill, snack bar, shower & laundry facilities, dump station, and boat landing on the Wolf River.

Wolf River Trips & Campgrounds offers the clear water, gentle rapids, and breathtaking scenery of the Little Wolf River make tubing a fun and relaxing recreational activity for all ages. The river is well-known for spring walleye and white bass fishing.

Trips start at the campground, where a shuttle bus takes you to the drop-off point on the beautiful Little Wolf River. From there, the river takes you through rocks, rapids and quiet drifting areas.

Along the way, stop for a swim at one of the smooth sandy spots or stay in your tube and relax. Allow the river to take you on a leisurely trip back to the main campgrounds.
