Potawatomi State Park In Sturgeon Bay, WI

On a clear day, the view from the observation tower reaches 16 miles across Green Bay to Menomonee, Mich., and Chambers Island, 20 miles to the northeast. Located on Sturgeon Bay, Potawatomi has gently rolling upland terrain bordered by steep slopes and rugged limestone cliffs along two and a half miles of Sturgeon Bay shoreline.


The two-mile shoreline is dotted with granite boulders, brought from Canada by the glacier. Sand Bay is in close proximity and always wonderful to take a look at, and Idlewild Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. All hiking, snowmobiling, natural beauty, variety of birds & flowers, two launch ramps to accommodate boaters and fishermen, off-road biking trails, Canoe, kayak and bicycle rentals are open in good condition. a 75-foot observation tower rises above the forest canopy, giving a panoramic view of Sawyer Harbor. Family campground and cabin for people with disabilities.
