Begin your vintage rail experience by purchasing a ticket in the fully-restored, 1916 SOO Line depot at Osceola, WI. The 11am and 2:30pm trips take you on a 20-mile journey along the sandstone bluffs of the St. Croix River, crossing into Minnesota on the Cedar Bend Draw Bridge, for a round trip to Marine on St. Croix and back.


The 1pm 10-mile round trip takes you through rural Wisconsin farm lands into the railroading town of Dresser Junction and back. Excursions run Sat, Sun and Holidays from Mem Day through late-Oct. Steam or diesel power, vintage cars. Special caboose rides, diesel cab rides, first-class service, July Fireworks Express, and Fall Color Specials.

Nearby attractions include the Fawn-Doe Rosa Wildlife Education Park, Ice Age Interpretive Center and the State Fish Hatchery, all in St. Croix Falls. A multitude of community events and festivals throughout the county celebrate the history and nature found in the area.
