Train Excursions at Kenosha Electric Streetcar System
Between 1903 and 1932, Kenosha's primary downtown transportation was an electric streetcar system. The city has re-installed a portion of that earlier streetcar line. Travel a 2-mile loop that includes the METRA Train Station, the Kenosha Public Museum and HarborPark.

In addition to regular bus routes, city officials also added an electric street car system that runs through the development, linking it with nearby downtown Kenosha and rail service to Milwaukee and Chicago. In 1932 the Kenosha system was converted to electric trolley buses, making Kenosha the first city in the world to utilize these vehicles for all transit operations (and coincidentally the first city to utilize color-coding for transit routes).
The cars run Mon-Fri from 11:05am-7:05pm, and Saturday from 10:05am-5:35pm.
