Train Excursions at METRA Commuter Railroad
Kenosha is the last stop on the northern leg of the Chicago/Northern Illinois METRA commuter railroad. The train drops passengers off within walking distance of Kenosha's historic districts, downtown area, Chicago's beautiful lakefront, museums, zoos, sporting events, shopslodging and restaurants. Closed Sundays. Pay for parking in the cafe.

The 495-mile Metra system serves 230 stations in the counties of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry and Kane. In some cases, Metra can take you practically to the front door - in other cases, your destination is easily in reach via Pace buses, and/or CTA buses and trains. Commuter rail service is provided between the City of Kenosha and Chicago by Metra’s Union Pacific North line. Railway station is at 54th Street and 13th Avenue in Kenosha.
