Both rivers offer a mild current and picturesque scenery including farmland, wood lots and marsh. There is no rough water, but it may be necessary to skirt an occasional fallen tree. The current slows below the junction of the rivers near Browntown.
Canoe and kayak enthusiasts enjoy peaceful floats down the twin branches of the Pecatonica River. The County’s Fever River offers another great paddling adventure and one of the nation’s best fisheries. Our lakes also offer great canoe and kayak adventures and spectacular scenery along your trip.
