Wisconsin & Southern Railroad and the Old Feed Mill offer monthly, roundtrip rail excursions from Madison to Mazomanie. Travel through Black Earth Creek Valley to Mazomanie, where you can enjoy a family-style dinner at the Old Feed Mill Restaurant. After dinner, shop historic downtown Mazomanie, then return to Madison.
Trains run the second Sunday of each month, departing Madison at 10am and 12:30pm. Each trip lasts 4-1/2 hours. The WSOR has offices and terminal yard facilities in Madison, Janesville and Horicon. The railroad operates in the southern half of Wisconsin and in northeastern Illinois over 700 miles of branch and mainline track.
