Wiouwash State Bike Trail, WI

The trail has been resurfaced with crushed limestone and is a delightful tour through scenic farmland, meadows, woodlands and marshes with plenty of watchable wildlife. In 1996, the Shawano Co. portion of the trail is expected to open, effectively doubling the trail's length. In addition to the rich wildlife habitats encountered along the Wiouwash State Trail, Winnebago County Recreation Trail offers sights that include the Rat River Wildlife Area, Sunset Bay and several wetlands.
